Now, onto the actual journal

Even while I am struggling to update The Boy and the Ho-oh (WHY THE HELL IS THIS TAKING SO LONG!!!??), my GaaNaru-centered mind is cooking up more fanfiction ideas (not to mention original ideas with original characters...)...

I present you the latest additions to my mental family, all of them screened and approved by my sister (you already know her, ).


Under My Skin
AU, America's 1930s to 50s timeset, GaaNaru (don't know if I'll include other pairings...)
Summary: Singer wannabe Naruto tries to find fame while performing covers of his idol, Frank Sinatra, but a constant presence in his poor audience seems to fascinate him beyond anything... What will he discover when he knows more about his man? And how much will he affect him in the end?
Main Purposes of this fic: This was actually prompted by this amazing picture [link] I adore the artist, and though I didn't want to write anything at first, pieces eventually fell together I hope it will do the feeling of the picture justice ^^ I want to put a lemon somewhere in there...


The Gathering of Nine
AU, Fairy tale environment, GaaNaru, appearance of all Jinchuuriki.
Summary: Gaara remembers nothing of his past, only that he moved to this deserted island and had a strange scar on his forehead. One day, he finds a boy unconscious on the beach, a blond boy called Naruto who has a spirit trapped inside him, and he changes his life forever. Forced to leave his world of peace and tranquility for an environment of exaggerated but endangered bliss, Gaara and this Naruto boy are immediately dragged to an overwhelming adventure, in which only the gathering of all the nine spirit hosts can save this utopic world. But one of them is missing... What to do?
Main Purposes of this fic: Make a Disney-fairy-tale-like story. With all the random musical moments freaking a very grouchy Gaara out. Jinchuuriki interaction. Several fantastic environments and a true sense of adventure. Lemon goes here too.


A Thousand Arabian Nights Plus One
AU, a few decades in the past, present day Iraq. GaaNaru.
Summary: Are the stories of a civilization any use to the people? Can a culture survive with only satisfying the basic needs of its people? And must the King remain always selfless or should he fight for his dreams too? In the climate of religious and cultural war, King Gaara, the ruler of the last village to keep the remainings of the Persian culture, decides to kill the culture of his people to assure their survival. But when a group of explorers, outraged with this village's lack of identity, confronts the king, maybe he needs to rethink his beliefs... In a thousand nights, Naruto will tell the king a thousand meaningful stories, both to gain his and his companion's freedom and to convince Gaara to save his people's culture and himself. But there is one last story he must tell, one that will probably change everything...
Main Purposes of this fic: I am fascinated with everything related to the 1001 Nights, so making them GaaNaru with my personal touch was actually a huge dream of mine If anyone wants to know more about the actual story of Scheherazade and the King of Persia, just ask away ^^ I also want to make other Konohans and the Sandsibs present, and playing an important role in the story. Lemon at the end (actually, all true romantic action will only happen in the end...)


The Little Male Mermaid
AU, present day, merpeople. GaaNaru, ShikaTema, SasuSai
Summary: As the third son of the feelbe ruler of all oceans, mermaid Gaara never thought responsibilities of the kingdom would fall upon him. But a coup-d'état dealt to his father's rule makes him the only one able to save the day, and only with the help of a human, the most fascinating human he has ever met, will he be able to do anything. The bad thing is, Naruto always thought that when he'd meet a real mermaid, the experience would be a lot different. For starters, it would not be a man. Maybe things will change for the best, though... Maybe this whole keeping-the-balance-between-sea-and-land deal will be something pleasant...
Main purposes of this fic: A parody for the Little Mermaid story. A very light and humorous read, with all the characters (hopefully) well integrated into this world. I know there are many mermaid stories out there, but perhaps this one will be rather original, huh? Lemon at the very end.

The Angel With Porcelain Wings
AU, present day, chaotic world. GaaNaru, ChouIno, KibaHina, SasuSai, JiraTsu
Summary: Having lost complete faith in this rotting humanity, the angel Gaara loses control of his rage and commits a terrible crime. He becomes then a fallen angel, forced to live among the humans he now detests and buried to the knees in their mud, forced to wear porcelain wings instead of just losing wings, with a new scar added to his forehead. But he has a chance to become an angel again (which he desperately wants), if he can find angels in the hearts of man and keep his wings intact. A single pure soul calls to him and his mission for redemption is laid before him... But perhaps this is more than a punishment... Perhaps this Naruto presents him a second chance to find his rightful place in the world...
Main purpose: I was about to give up on this idea, but I now have so many philosophic questions linked to it that it became something huge... This will have all characters inserted into an environment of madness. Absynth-addict Sai, opium-addict Sasuke, prostituted Ino, extra-pervert Kakashi, .... It'll be very dark and adult, but I can't wait to start writing it... Of course, a lemon goes here too.

Despite a scary introduction. this is a fun game that i've (zaphiel-san) adapted form the financial industry. adapted form the financial industry. When you follow through exactly the way its supposed to, you can gain up to 10 000 watchers or even more with the investment of only 1 (that is ONE) watch. No, really. It's simple math, I'll explain it to you in a moment.

Now, please, this is just a fun and easy way to expand your audience, please don't abuse it by spamming people or anything. Plus it only works when everyone follow through every step, so it's best to rely on close friends.

And if you don't believe the 10 000 watchers claim yet, get a calc and read carefully what I'm about to say.

OK, now see how it works (if you havent figured it out already).

The point of the game is to get 10 people to watch the first person on the list. Why? Because, if you get 10 people to give a watch to someone, that means that person gets 10 watches. BUT, when every single one of them gets another 10 people to watch someone, that multiplies to 100 watches. Since you're now no.5 on the list, it means your 10 friends will tag 10 other and they will in turn tag 10 other and finally they will tag 10 who will finally watch you. Thats 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10 000 watches. Simple, and all you have to do, is to follow through.

Imagine what will happen if more than 10 people pick up on your journal. You can just copy and paste this txt to you journal, remembering to change the necessary stuff.
